Nathan Goddard received a BFA in painting with an emphasis on Land Arts from
the University of New Mexico in 2000. While in the Southwest his studio experience
and practice involved long treks throughout the four-corners area with his easel, paints
and camera creating images in the tradition of the early Taos Modernists. The land,
environment, and diverse cultures within the southwest were the core subjects within
his work. After moving back to Michigan six years ago, Nathan's professional work includes graphic design, product development and sculpture. His love of the outdoors and his passion
for creating has established him as an innovative and contemporary artist in the community.
"Whether
it is creating a painting, or designing a clean and crisp logo, the
concept
needs to carry through so that the viewer can recognize and
identify with the expression.
I work in many different mediums to
illustrate a final product, brand or concept."
